ISSES : International Seminar of Sport and Exercise Sciences

To increase the knowledge about society 5.0 and implementations on Olympic Games 2021, the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, virtually held an International Seminar of Sport and Exercise Science. The seminar aimed to be one of the benchmarks on Society 5.0 Role and Implementations on Olympic Games 2021. This seminar is the 3rd series of previous seminars held in 2014 and 2019.

Aim and Scope The aim and scope but not limit to Sport Management, Sport Performance, Sport Biomechanic, Sport Policy, Sport Nutrition, Sport Sociology, Sport Psychology, Sport Pedagogy, Sport Recreation and Leisure Activity, Sport Medicine.

    To increase the knowledge about society 5.0 and implementations on Olympic Games 2021, the Faculty of Sports Science, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, virtually held an International Seminar of Sport and Exercise Science. The seminar aimed to be one of the benchmarks on Society 5.0 Role and Implementations on Olympic Games 2021. This seminar is the 3rd series of previous seminars held in 2014 and 2019.

     

    Aim and Scope


    The topics of the conference include, but are not limited to: Sport Pedagogic, Sport Coaching, Sport Nutrition, Sport Biomechanics, Sport Policy, Sport Performance, Sport Medicine, Sport Tourism, Traditional Sports and Games, Health Sciences.

International Conference on Social, Applied Science and Technology in Home Economics

International Conference on Social, Applied Science and Technology in Home Economics aims for improving the quality of research and development relating to the applied sciences and technology on Home Economics (HE) field. HE is conducted to support the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets.  Sustainable Development (SD) based on three pillars, which include technology, economy, social and environment. The goals of the conference are: 1) to identify the applied sciences in HE field, especially on human basic needs (food, clothing, healthcare, and education), 2) to describe the research trend in HE fields, 3) to determine the opportunity of getting intellectual right (patent, copyright, design), 4) to analyze technology development for supporting entrepreneurial and creative industry opportunity, and 5) to establish and improve the world HE network for collaborative research and/or collaborative article publishing. The Conference will take place in Surabaya, Indonesia on  September 12 – 13,  2017. The Conference is hosted by Home Economics Department, Engineering Faculty, Universitas Negeri Surabaya.

    CALL FOR PAPERS

    Invitation for a full paper submission will be closed on 18 July 2021 and notification of full paper acceptance for presentation will be announced on 11 August 2021. The full paper revision must be submitted by 9 September 2021 and full paper camera ready will be announced on 17 September 2021. The conference will be held online. The paper is written in academic English. The paper should include the purpose of study, methodology, results, discussion and implication. Abstract should be between 150-200 words long.     KEYNOTE SPEAKER

    Dr. George Jacobs

    President, Centre for a Responsible Future, Singapore

    Dr. George Jacobs is a frequent writer, teacher, speaker, and practitioner on such topics as Cooperative Learning, Student-Centered Learning, Language Education, Ecolinguistics, Environmental Education, and Humane Education. Among his recent publications are Student-centered cooperative learning, Perspectives on a 2019 tiger-human interaction incident in Malaysia, Helping students create their own books the dialogic way, and It’s getting easier to eat a ‘climate cooling’ diet. Many of his publications are available for free download at georgejacobs.net. One of his favorite books was published in Indonesia, with a team of Indonesian university lecturers led by Professor Anita Lie: English via environmental education.

    1. Dr. Mashitah Hamidi

    Senior Lecturer, Department of Administration and Social Justice, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya, Malaysia

    Mashitah Hamidi, Senior Lecturer in Social Work for marginalized groups focusing on labor and gendered migration, stateless people and refugees in the Department of Administration and Social Justice, University of Malaya. She obtained her Bachelor Science (Hons) Human Development and Masters Human Resource Development (MHRD) from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She pursued her Ph.D. in Sociology at La Trobe University, Australia. Her areas of research include development studies and social services system of transnational labor migration, stateless and refugees group. She handles numerous number of research including Indonesian Women Migrants in Malaysia, Stateless Children in Chow Kit Kuala Lumpur, Rohingya Refugees Community, and joint-research with Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia on gendered migration project. Mashitah involves as Consultant team members of National projects such as Malaysian Social Workers Knowledge and Practice (2018), Inclusive Campus Framework for Disable Students – MyU-OKU (2019) and Sarawak Well-Being Index (2019-2020).

    2. Dr. Jiradej Setabundhu

    Vice President for Academic Affairs, Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Thailand

    Jiradej Setabundhu studied music with Bruce Gaston at Chulalongkorn University. He attended the University of Southern California for his master’s degree, studying with composer Donald Crockett, and received his doctoral degree in composition from Northwestern University. His teachers include M. William Karlins, Marta Ptaszynska, Amnon Wolman, Michael Pisaro and Stephen Syverud. Currently, he is the vice president for academic affairs at the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Thailand. He has been the recipient of the Michael Mason Scholarship, the NSCO Composers Award, the William T. Faricy Composition Award, the Yoshiro Irino Prize and the Composers Guild Award. His composition has been performed in China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Slovenia, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam.

The 4th International Conference on Education Innovation (ICEI) 2020 is organized by Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia. The conference will be held on 5th September, 2020 in Surabaya, Indonesia. This international conference aims to bridge the researchers, education experts, practitioners, teachers, and students in a scientific forum through sharing ideas and issues about theoretical and practical knowledge in special need education, educational technology, educational management, guidance and counseling, early-childhood education, elementary education, non-formal education, educational psychology. Current issues in our education is all education system should go online due to the pandemic. Teacher and students meet through online classroom system. The idea of society 5.0 suggests human touch in technology use. These influence researchers to do some research and a need to transform a research platform in this situation. Therefore, the theme of the conference is “Empowering Society 5.0 through Transformation in Research|Education”.

    The author is asked to submit an full paper the Committee on June 20, 2020. The abstract must contain the following sections: introduction, research objectives, methods, results, conclusions, and keywords. Abstraction cannot be more than 200 words.
